Fishing Vessel Adrift Near Nagapattinam: Assistance Requested

On January 19, 2025, at approximately 1100 hours UTC, the Sri Lankan fishing vessel SLFV SAMUDITHA 04 (Registration Number: IMUL-A-1262 MTR) reported being adrift due to engine failure. The vessel, with a crew of six onboard, was last located at coordinates 11° 06' N, 82° 42' E. This position is approximately 168 nautical miles from Nagapattinam Lighthouse (083 bearing).

Sailing Yacht Sunbeam Overdue – Italian Coast Guard Issues Search and Rescue Alert

  UPDATE 08 Sptempber 2024: The vessel was located in the port of Denia. Alarm no longer active. With the post on Facebook the captain lets us know that they are fine: Oisin Margey Hi, I am the captain of Sunbeam. We are fine and currently approaching the East Coast of Spain.
