Urgent: Sailing Vessel "Time-Aut" in Distress

UPDATE: December 12, 202 at 4 PM Eastern - RCC Norfolk reports that they safely rescued 3 individuals from the SV "Time-Aut" and brought them to shore several hours ago. A C130 and a MH60 Hero helicopter were used in the rescue. Bravo Zulu RCC Norfolk.




The Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) Norfolk has received a report that the sailing vessel "Time-Aut"
(MMSI: 203245311), an Austrian-flagged vessel with three people on board, is beset by severe weather approximately 134 nautical miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
