MAYDAY Call for Sailing Vessel Baradozig

There is a glimmer of hope as the sailing vessel Baradozig has reactivated its AIS signal.






Etel, France – The Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) Etel has issued a distress alert for the sailing vessel Baradozig with the call sign FOTT. The vessel, carrying three people, was last known to be at the position 45°10.86'N 008°01.40'W.

The distress beacon was activated at approximately 0500 UTC on November 11, 2024. MRCC Etel is currently coordinating the rescue operation and has requested ships in the area to keep a sharp lookout and proceed to the distress position. Any information regarding the vessel should be reported immediately to MRCC Etel.
