A man overboard situation has been reported from the passenger ship Celestyal Journey.

Details:

  • Last Seen: November 22, 2024 at 09:00 UTC
  • Last Known Position: 01°05'32" North, 056°00'09" East
  • Description of Missing Person: Male, 30 years old

Urgency: All vessels in the vicinity of the Celestyal Journey's last known position are requested to assist in the search effort. Please maintain a sharp lookout for any sign of the missing person and report any information to Seychelles MRCC or Réunion MRCC (Réunion Island).

Weather Conditions:

  • Wind: 8 knots with gusts up to 11 knots from West-Northwest
  • Sky: Partly cloudy
  • Sea: Slight swell
  • Rain expected in the coming hours

  • The Celestyal Journey is a passenger ship sailing under the flag of Bermuda.
  • The ship is approximately 220 meters long and 32 meters wide.
  • The ship's destination is Doha.

Sailing Yacht Sunbeam Overdue – Italian Coast Guard Issues Search and Rescue Alert

  UPDATE 08 Sptempber 2024: The vessel was located in the port of Denia. Alarm no longer active. With the post on Facebook the captain lets us know that they are fine: Oisin Margey Hi, I am the captain of Sunbeam. We are fine and currently approaching the East Coast of Spain.
