U.S. Navy Rescues Crew of MV Tutor After Houthi Attack in the Red Sea

 The IKE Carrier Strike Group, under the command of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), demonstrated its commitment to maritime safety on June 15 by assisting the crew of MV Tutor after they were attacked by Iranian-backed Houthis in the Red Sea.



The attack resulted in damage to the vessel, but no reported injuries among the crew members. The IKE Carrier Strike Group responded swiftly to the distress call, providing necessary assistance and ensuring the safety of the MV Tutor's crew.


This incident underscores the ongoing challenges in maintaining regional stability and maritime security in the Red Sea.

Sailing Yacht Sunbeam Overdue – Italian Coast Guard Issues Search and Rescue Alert

  UPDATE 08 Sptempber 2024: The vessel was located in the port of Denia. Alarm no longer active. With the post on Facebook the captain lets us know that they are fine: Oisin Margey Hi, I am the captain of Sunbeam. We are fine and currently approaching the East Coast of Spain.
