Etel, 7 June 2024 – The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) in Etel, France, has initiated a search and rescue (SAR) operation following the report of a missing sailboat. The vessel, a white sailboat with a blue strap and blue sail, identified as an "Aphrodite 101" with a length of 9.32 meters and registered under the number 650691, was last seen in position 46°06.57'N, 02°55.14'W on 5 June 2024 at 20:00 UTC. The sailboat's name is "Elanta".

All ships in the vicinity are urgently requested to proceed to the distress position and report any sightings or information to MRCC Etel.
