The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has recently received a concerning report regarding an incident approximately 71 nautical miles southwest of Saleef, Yemen. According to the latest information, there has been an alleged explosion in the vicinity of a vessel in that area. While details remain limited, authorities are actively investigating the matter to ascertain the nature and extent of the incident.

The master of the vessel involved in the reported incident has confirmed hearing a sound resembling an explosion near their location. Thankfully, both the vessel and its crew have been reported safe. In response to the incident, Coalition Forces have initiated an investigation to gather more information and determine the cause behind the reported explosion.

Given the uncertainties surrounding the situation, vessels navigating through the region are strongly advised to exercise heightened caution. It is imperative for all vessels to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to UKMTO authorities.
