A distress beacon was activated on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 09:43 UTC (10:43 CET) in the North Atlantic Ocean. The United Kingdom Coastguard issued a MAYDAY message requesting vessels in the area to proceed to the beacon's location at 58° 40.8′ North, 19° 41.5′ West and investigate the situation.
