Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses After Collision with Cargo Ship



 BALTIMORE, MD - A major bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, the 1.6-mile long Francis Scott Key Bridge, collapsed early this morning after being struck by a large cargo ship "DALI". The incident, which occurred around 1:30 AM EDT, is being reported as a mass casualty event with multiple vehicles and people falling into the water below.

Baltimore City Fire Department officials have confirmed that at least seven people and several vehicles plunged into the river. Rescue teams are actively searching for survivors.
