The Italian Coast Guard, on behalf of the Libyan Navy Coast Guard, is issuing an urgent appeal to all ships transiting near the oil ring located at 33°48'N 011°52'E in the Mediterranean Sea. They are searching for a white fiberglass boat carrying 3 people in need of assistance.
